Sektoria-K250 series

The classic single-flank wirewave detector series is designed for perimeter sections up to 250 meters long. The detection zone is formed between two parallel wires and can reach a height of up to 2 meters. This series is ideal for areas with complex terrain, frequent curves, and irregular layouts, providing stable performance and durable protection. All detectors in the series can be configured using adjustable controls.

 Sektoria-K250 – the standard modification of the series features a metal housing, IP67 protection, compact dimensions, and high resistance to interference, while providing strong detection capabilities. Alarm output is provided via a dry contact relay.
 Sektoria-K250E – the budget modification features a durable plastic housing with IP65 protection, compact dimensions, and maintains high detection performance and strong resistance to interference. Alarm output is provided via a dry contact relay.
 Sektoria-K250S – the premium modification offering the highest detection performance, advanced signal-processing electronics, and enhanced resistance to interference. Built with corrosion-resistant metal components and upgraded to an IP68 protection rating, it features compact dimensions, multilayer PCB protection with specialized compounds, and exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures (–60 to +85 °C). Supplied with a convenient bayonet-locking junction box. Alarm output is delivered via a dry-contact relay.

General Information

 Sektoria-K250 is the standard version of the single-flank wirewave intrusion detector series, suitable for most applications requiring perimeter protection up to 250 meters in length. It is ideal for areas where dual-position microwave detectors cannot be deployed due to complex terrain, numerous perimeter bends, or other installation challenges. The detector features a single alarm output channel via a dry-contact relay and does not include additional optional features.

 Built on advanced electronic components, it ensures reliable and stable operation for decades, while providing excellent signal processing and high immunity to interference. The detector generates an alarm not only in case of intrusion, but also in the event of power loss, open or short circuit of the detection cables, tampering with adjustment controls, or opening of the adjustment unit cover.

 The enclosure of this modification is made of stainless steel and aluminum, providing full corrosion resistance. Its IP67 protection rating minimizes the effects of external conditions, allowing decades of successful operation even in harsh climates with temperatures ranging from –50 to +50 °C. Compact dimensions further simplify transportation and installation.

Installation guidelines

 For perimeter sections up to 250 meters in length, the detector ensures continuous intrusion detection along the protected boundary, with a detection zone height of up to 2 meters. The detection zone is formed by two parallel wires, with its primary active area located between them. The wires are secured using mounting brackets of appropriate lengths, specifically designed for our wirewave detectors and various installation configurations. We recommend the following installation options:

• Installation along the top of a fence
This configuration is recommended when the fence structure is sufficiently robust and cannot be damaged or bypassed without entering the detection zone, including attempts such as tunneling beneath the fence. This method is particularly suitable for concrete fences. Short mounting brackets are used for this installation option.

• Protection of vulnerable fences
In this configuration, the detection zone extends from ground level up to approximately 1.5 meters in height, using medium-length mounting brackets. This arrangement prevents undetected intrusion both through fence damage or shallow tunneling, as well as attempts to climb over the fence or jump across the detection zone. This installation method is recommended for mesh, sheet metal, brick, wooden, and other mechanically vulnerable fence types.

• Open-Area Perimeter Protection
In the absence of any physical barriers, full perimeter control can be achieved using long mounting brackets, forming a detection zone up to 2 meters in height. This configuration reliably prevents undetected crossing of the protected area under real-world intrusion conditions.

Detector setup

 Detector setup is performed using only two controls, ensuring quick and simple configuration for the required detection task:

• Sensitivity control sets the approximate intruder size threshold at which an alarm is triggered.

• Speed control defines the target average intruder movement speed, allowing detection to be prioritized for specific scenarios. When set to the mid-range position, the detector operates within the standard human movement speed range.
